This was a grouping of three different types of potatoes, on display in a marketplace’s produce section, ready for sale to passing consumers. Two kinds of red potatoes, which were actually more of a maroon color, flanked a central batch of white potatoes. Even though these had already been washed by the producer, before eating, potatoes still need to be washed thoroughly with soap and warm water.
