The fingers on the left hand of this patient displayed the symptoms of a fungal infection known as onychomycosis, in this case, due to an unidentified fungal organism. The photograph was captured in the country of Yugoslavia. Note the deformation of the nails giving them a thickened, cracked and irregular appearance.
