This is one in a series of twenty-four images (PHIL 16125 - 16148) captured at a memorial ceremony exhibit entitled, “Honoring Dr. Stephen B. Thacker”. This pen, which sat atop Dr. Thacker’s desk, was inscribed with the words, “Stephen B. Thacker, M.D., M.Sc., Asst. Dir. for Science, CEHIC”. The photographic series was compiled March 2013. The CDC Public Health Library and Information Center hosted an exhibit honoring Dr. Thacker’s life and contributions to the CDC. The exhibit remained on display from early February, through the EIS Conference in late April of 2013.
