This 1972 image depicted the activities taking place at what was an active refuse depot somewhere in Kentucky. In this particular view, three spill trucks had backed into their respective bays in order to unload their cargo of pesticides, brought here in order to be disposed of appropriately. The pesticides being unloaded, had been involved in a transportation related accident. Due to their toxic nature, and the harm they could wreck upon the environment and human beings, were in need of proper disposal.
