Captured in July 2014, during an outbreak of chikungunya among Caribbean non-travelers, this photograph depicted an entomologist from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), John-Paul Mutebi, as he was in the process of setting up one of a number of BG-Sentinel traps (a.k.a. the BG trap or BGS trap), in order to collect mosquitoes for testing. The picture was taken somewhere on the island of St. Croix, United States Virgin Islands (USVI).
