Caption:
This 1971 photograph depicts a patient, on the island country of St. Lucia, had been given a skin test on her upper back, in order to determine whether or not, she’d been exposed to Schistosoma spp. parasites. In this particular case, both the standard, and enzyme antigen-based test were immediately positively reactive.
