From 1973, this image depicts a schistosomiasis skin testing session that was taking place on the island nation of St. Lucia, on the grounds of the Grande Riviere Secondary School, in the region of Grande Riviere, in the town of Dennery. Skin tests would determine whether or not an individual had been exposed to Schistosoma spp. parasites.
