Entitled, “Reducing Sodium: From Menu to Mouth”, this is one of a series of informative infographics created in 2014, by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in order to disseminate information to consumers about the high levels of sodium contained in fast food or sit down restaurants, as compared to home cooked meals. The graphic also discusses ways in which Chinese restaurants, partnered with the Philadelphia Department of Public Health, in order to help reduce sodium content in the restaurants’ menu items.
