Caption:
Under a magnification of 475X, this photomicrograph revealed some ultrastructural morphology exhibited by a conidial head of the fungal organism, Aspergillus alliaceus. The conidial head tops the conidiophore, and is composed of fungal spores, or conidia, also known as mitospores, for they are born out of the process of mitosis, and are therefore, haploid when they reach maturity.
