After having been excised from a Nigerian patient, this tissue specimen, which as evidenced by the included ruler, measured approximately 6.2cm, represented what was determined to be a recurrent, mixed salivary tumor, also referred to as a pleomorphic adenoma. See PHIL 20252, for a view of this neoplasm while still located in the patient’s oral cavity in the region of the hard palate.
