Under a magnification of 12.5X, this image depicted a number of bacterial colonies, which had been cultivated on blood heart infusion (BHI) agar that had been inoculated with a culture of Propionibacterium propionicus, serotype-2, formerly referred to as Actinomyces propionicus, and Arachnia proprionica, and incubated for a 9-day time period.
