This Petri dish culture plate contained a growth medium of blood heart infusion (BHI) agar, which had been inoculated with the bacterial organism, Dermatophilus congolensis, and then incubated for a period of 12-days. Note the characteristically yellow-colored, small colony, exhibiting a rough, granular texture.
