Under a magnification of 1800X, this photomicrograph revealed some of the ultrastructural morphology exhibited by this dermatophytic fungal organism, which was a species of Arachniotus, labeled KCFS 62-4739. You can see numerous, free-floating ascospores, as well as a number of curled hyphal segments.
