Under a magnification of 125X, this photomicrograph revealed some of the histopathology associated with a liver biopsy tissue specimen. In this case, a diagnosis was made, and the condition was deemed active acute viral hepatitis. In this field of view, you can see lobular degeneration, the process of reticulin condensation, and an inflammatory infiltrate.
