Caption:
Captured in an unknown location, this image depicted the surface of the ocean, at which point you could see a great pink jellyfish, Cyanea capillata, floating at the water’s surface. The animal’s disk can grow up to 2.5 meters in diameter, and its tentacles can reach a length of 75 feet, and are able to inflict a venomous sting to unwary swimmers, or the curious observers, who venture too closely, and come into contact with the animal’s tentacles.
