Viewed from the front, this image shows a Petri dish culture plate containing Sabouraud dextrose agar inoculated with the fungal organism Cutaneotrichosporon cutaneum (formerly Trichosporon cutaneum). The colony is moderately sized, with a velvety, wrinkled surface and yellowish pigmentation.
