This image from 1967 depicts a 13-month-old infant in the lithotomy position, revealing multiple congenital anomalies involving the perineal region. Findings include exstrophy of the urinary bladder and cloaca, bifid penis and scrotum, and congenital dislocation of the hips. Although not well visualized here, a right-sided clubfoot deformity and a mesenteric cyst were also present. An intestinal stoma is visible on the right abdomen. See PHIL 23615 for another view of these congenital abnormalities.
