Caption:
This photograph depicts a close anterior view of the face of a 7½-year-old male patient with a history of seizures since 3 months of age. Note the red papular eruption over the nasolabial and chin regions, consistent with adenoma sebaceum, composed of multiple cutaneous angiofibromas. The patient was diagnosed with tuberous sclerosis, also known as tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC), conditions that are commonly associated. Skull radiographs revealed calcifications in the bilateral basal ganglia and lateral ventricles.
