This photomicrograph shows the reaction observed when a 1:64 dilution sample was analyzed for Toxoplasma gondii using the indirect fluorescent antibody test (IFAT) and viewed under fluorescent illumination. The positive 1:64 sample produced weak polar staining of the T. gondii tachyzoites, with fluorescence concentrated at the anterior pole of each organism.
