From 1965, this image depicts the necrotic condition of a patient’s left foot from a plantar perspective following envenomation by an unspecified snake. Note the extensive soft tissue necrosis resulting from venom-induced injury. The image was donated by Dr. Mario E. Pacheco of New Orleans, Louisiana.
