This image shows the left foot of a 4-month-old infant with transposition of the great vessels, complicated by thrombosis affecting the feet. This view was obtained later than that shown in PHIL 24324, captured 27 days earlier, where early ischemic color changes of the distal feet are visible. The distal portion of this foot subsequently required amputation. It was noted that the infant was still alive at 10 months of age.
