This image depicts the hands of a patient with white finger disease, or Raynaud's Syndrome, due to working for long periods with a jackhammer. Raynaud's Syndrome is essentially a problem involving a lack of blood flow to the nerves, and in this case, was caused by the constant vibration of the hands and arms, which took place during the jackhammering, which is a form of repetitive motion disorder.
