Caption:
Under high magnification, this photomicrograph reveals the morphology of multiseptate conidia and a septate conidiophore produced by the fungal organism Curvularia geniculata. Some conidia are detached, while others remain attached to the conidiophore. This specimen was isolated from a case of mycotic keratitis, a fungal infection of the cornea.
