This photomicrograph of a preparation from dried eye scrapings, processed using the Gridley staining method, reveals histopathologic changes caused by a Ceylon isolate of the fungal organism Curvularia geniculata in a case of mycotic keratitis. See PHIL 24674 for an image of a C. geniculata colony cultured from a corneal specimen obtained from the same patient. See also PHIL 24680 for a color view of this histopathology.
