This image depicted Quarantine Public Health Officer, Máire Kirley, awaiting the arrival of an aircraft during a Live Full-Scale Ebola exercise at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, in April 2017. This Department of State-led exercise tested our nation’s ability to repatriate Americans exposed to, or sick from Ebola while in foreign countries, upon their return to the United States, and transfer them to appropriate care. Partners from local, state, federal, healthcare, EMS, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) collaborated and participated in this exercise.
