This photo was taken during a site visit to PROCEED, a CDC-funded community based organization, in Elizabeth, New Jersey. The woman in the photo, Tania Zurita, is a Program Supervisor with PROCEED’s Community High Impact HIV Prevention Program (CHIPP). Tania was standing on a busy corner in Elizabeth at dusk – she was educating two men on various HIV services. The photographer goes on to say, “I like this photo because it’s an action shot, taken while she was talking and pointing – and the pink colors of her nails, bracelet, lanyard and education materials all stand out against a dull background of busy traffic and pedestrians. As a bonus, the images of the two men she was talking to were reflected in her sunglasses.”
