This image shows a close right anterior-oblique (AO) view of a patient’s right face. This is the same patient depicted in PHIL 2875 and 24911 with erysipelas, a streptococcal infection of the skin and subcutaneous tissues. In this view, the previously noted erythema and purulent infection have largely resolved, indicating response to treatment.
