Caption:
This image depicted a close dorsal view of a child’s hands, highlighting abnormalities that had manifested due to a rare autosomal recessive disorder known as Donohue syndrome, formerly referred to as leprechaunism. Possible symptoms include thickening and bronzing of the skin, both of which can be seen in the case of this 3-year-old boy. See PHIL 25036 through 25043, for other views of this patient’s condition.
