Caption:
This image depicted an anterior view of a seated child in a clinical setting. The picture highlighted abnormalities that had manifested due to a recessive genetic disorder referred to as Donohue syndrome, formerly referred to as leprechaunism. Symptoms include thickening and bronzing of the skin, both of which can be seen in the case of this 3-year-old boy. Also note the boy’s low-set ears, flared nostrils, and widely-spaced eyes. See PHIL 25036 through 25043, for other views of this patient’s condition.
