This photograph presents a ventral view of a guinea pig of the genus Cavia, including the perineal region. A vulvar verrucous lesion is visible and was attributed to paracoccidioidomycosis (PCM), also known as South American blastomycosis, caused by a fungal organism of the genus Paracoccidioides.
