This photograph presents a right posterior-oblique (PO) view of a young boy’s head, neck, and upper back, highlighting two cutaneous lesions: one below the right ear and one on the right upper back. Both lesions were caused by bites of the human itch mite, Sarcoptes scabiei. The image was captured in Decatur, Georgia, in 1963. See PHIL 25263 for a closer view of the upper back lesion.
