Under 250X magnification, this photomicrograph shows a slide culture demonstrating the ultrastructural morphology of the fungal organism Microsporum nanum. Seven macroconidia are visible, attached to filamentous hyphae by stout conidiophores. The isolate was obtained from a porcine specimen.
