This image depicts a close view of a Petri dish culture plate containing Hayflick’s mycoplasma agar inoculated with a bacterial organism of the genus Mycoplasma. The culture produced characteristic tiny colonies that are denser and thicker centrally, with thinner, more translucent peripheral margins.
