This photomicrograph depicted eight Enterobius vermicularis eggs, that had been collected on cellulose tape. The nematode, E. vermicularis, is also referred to as a pinworm. See PHIL 26371, for another view of these ova contained in a larger field of view, under a lesser magnification.
