These two Campylobacter fetus subsp. jejuni cultures were grown on a combination of Skirrow and Butzler media. The medium in each plate contained the antimicrobials vancomycin, polymyxin B, and trimethoprim (VPT) to control bacterial growth. Plate 1 was inoculated with a diluted culture specimen, whereas Plate 2 was inoculated by direct application of an undiluted specimen.
