This photograph shows a frontal view of a Petri dish culture plate containing a rough-type Nocardia dentocariosus bacterial colony, designated strain X-528. The plate, prepared with blood heart infusion (BHI) agar and incubated for 7 days, produced this N. dentocariosus colony.
