This image depicts a close right lateral view of a feline’s head, highlighting the presence of a cutaneous lesion, prior to any treatment, which had been diagnosed as a case of dermatophytosis, or ringworm, caused by the fungal organism, Microsporum canis. See PHIL 27812, for a view of this condition after completing a 9-day treatment with the antifungal medicine, Griseofulvin.
