This anterior view of a cat’s head highlighted the appearance of a dermatophytic infection of the animal’s face, after having been treated with the antifungal medicine, Griseofulvin, for a 4-day period. The organism responsible for this infection was, Microsporum canis. See PHIL 27816, for the appearance of this rash prior to any treatment, and 27817, for how the rash appeared after 2-weeks of antifungal treatment.
