This photomicrograph highlighted some of the ultrastructural morphology exhibited by the fungal organism of the genus, Blastomyces, while in its mycelial phase of development. Note the web of septate mycelial filaments, which sprout conidiophores at right angles that are topped by spheroid conidia.
