Under a low magnification of 1125X, this photomicrograph highlighted some of the ultrastructural morphology exhibited by the fungal organism, Madurella mycetomatis, formerly known as Madurella mycetomii, which included numerous flask-shaped phialides, some topped by clusters of spheroid conidia.
