Captured in the Saudi Arabian city of Medina, this image depicted a very close volar view of a man’s right forearm, which exhibited the wheals, or raised areas that had resulted at sites where a schistosomiasis intradermal skin test had been administered. The schistosomiasis antigenic injectable solutions were comprised of three schistosomal antigens. This is a closer view than the one depicted in PHIL 28040.
