Under a magnification of 1125X, this photomicrograph of a silver chromate–stained pulmonary tissue sample demonstrates numerous round yeast forms of Cryptococcus sp. organisms clustered within the lumen of a pulmonary blood vessel, consistent with pulmonary cryptococcosis.
