This image depicts an anterior radiographic view of a child’s left upper arm. The patient was dealing with sickle cell anemia, and had sustained osteomyelitic changes in the left humerus due to the disease, which had manifested as osteologic irregularities to the humeral head due to a decrease in bone density.
