Under a magnification of 1200X, this photomicrograph highlighted some of the ultrastructural morphology exhibited by the fungal organism, Candida albicans. Note here, that these C. albicans organisms were growing in a filamentous growth pattern, sprouting clusters of blastoconidia along the hypha. See PHIL 28245, for another view of these blastoconidia under a lesser magnification.
