Viewed from the front, this Petri dish culture plate contained an unidentified growth medium, which had been inoculated with the fungal organism, Cutaneotrichosporon cutaneum, formerly referred to as Trichosporon cutaneum, and had produced a moderately sized, velvety, though wrinkled colony.
