Under a magnification of 475X, this photomicrograph highlighted some of the ultrastructural morphology exhibited by the fungal organism, Trichophyton equinum, designated strain V563. The organism was cultivated on wort agar. Note the numerous microconidia that were clustered along the hyphal filaments.
