Under a magnification of 480X, this photomicrograph of an unidentified Hematoxylin-Eosin (H&E)-stained tissue section, highlighted some of the histopathologic changes due to the disease coccidioidomycosis, caused by a fungal organism of the genus, Coccidioides. In this view, you can see a grouping of Coccidioides sp. spherules.
