Under a magnification of 970X, this photomicrograph highlighted some of the structural morphology exhibited by the dermatophytic fungal organism, Trichophyton ferrugineum, also referred to as Microsporum ferrugineum. Here, you see a bicellular, septate, T. ferrugineum macroconidium.
