Under a magnification of 375X, this photomicrograph of a mouse tissue specimen, showed a number of Sporotrichum sp. yeast cells, while one of the cells in the center, was undergoing the reproductive process known as budding, which would lead to the creation of a genetically identical duplicated yeast cells.
