Caption:
This image depicts a right anterior oblique view of a patient’s lower face and upper chest, highlighting cervical swelling of the right neck due to listeriosis resulting in cervical lymphadenopathy. A drainage tube appears to have been placed in the right neck to evacuate accumulated fluid and reduce persistent swelling. Listeriosis is caused by the bacterium Listeria monocytogenes. The image was donated by Prof. Dr. Heinz P. R. Seeliger, Germany.
